you see the beginning of a knit triangle-shawl which is about 25 cm long and consists of many small squares in different tones of green.

today was a good day for finishing up projects! wove in the ends on this half-cowl with button. we'll see how it holds up once the leaves start falling - I see this as a slightly-above to just-below freezing scarf. the half-un-sewn part is so I can eat/drink/talk easily! i completely made up the concept after watching videos on infinity scarves. #knitting

Liked the Six Petal Motif I made for my mom (in the colors of a poinsettia) that I made one for my sister's upcoming birthday.

Ends are woven in but still needs blocking.

Posting Bi-kini #wip progress even though I got self-conscious while editing the photos.

The top is done; it feels a little looser after I handwashed it, but those are adjustments I can make.

The bottom is not quite done, but there's under an inch to go. I forgot a set of increases, but if nothing else, washing it will make it the right size

Adventures in baby knitting: an Elizabeth Zimmermann baby sweater in Tale and Tendril's wool/bamboo sock yarn. I'm putting a lot of faith in the "babies come in various sizes" part of the instructions, but this sweater is VERY stretchy so I think it'll be ok.

Doggo took me on a tour today, I'm a lucky human! We went by bike outside the city, found a nice spot for the hammock and are now chilling in the green #outdoors. There is salad and #knitting involved.

#fiberarts #question. I purchased a bamboo/cotton mix out of curiosity. I wanted to try bamboo. But it occurs to me I don't know how it is as a material (and I can't find the yarn in Ravelry's database). Is it warmer than cotton? Is it itchy? Does it stretch? Could I felt it if I wanted to? (I got this online, not locally, otherwise I may have thought to ask) Any details? #crochet #knitting #fibrearts
