Was great to do some pod recording for http://fair.us at #copyleftconf this week. For all these years l've been producing from afar. This time l got to be in the room, yay!
@conservancy Thanks for #CopyleftConf zero! I'm curious as to where recordings can be found of the talks, most specifically the opening one by @mollydb
Thanks to everyone who helped make the first #CopyleftConf a success; the #FOSDEM video team, speakers, volunteers and of course, attendees!! Please let us know what we can do to make next year even better.
As mentioned today at #CopyleftConf, "If Software Is Funded from a Public Source, Its Code Should Be Open Source". And #Copyleft to protect its future status.
You very well know a lot of people boycotted the #copyleftconf fire this very reason, so saying this is quite an open washing move.
One thing that appeared at #FOSDEM is that some people are willing to find other ways of funding the event without having to abandon it to surveillance capitalists.
Having a FOSDEM sponsored by smaller companies would save the day. Otherwise it will split the community and see that free software die for good.

We still have a few tickets left for #CopyleftConf if you haven't managed to get around to reserving your spot yet. $100 for professional tickets, and student/underemployed/non-profit tickets are $15. https://2019.copyleftconf.org/
Looking forward to FOSDEM++ this year. First #FOSDEM and then #CopyleftConf. Great that this year all important #FreeSoftware NGO's are in one row: FSFE, FSF, Software Freedom Conservancy and OSI.
Conservancy friends, esp. those of you who like free admission and/or free software video stacks. We'll be recording at #CopyleftConf & it's gonna be pretty DIY, so we need a few volunteers. Pls mail copyleftconf@ sfconvervancy dot org if you can help out. https://sfconservancy.org/blog/2019/jan/25/brusselsvolunteers/
We agree sponsors shouldn't control content. Unlike most other conferences, we never sell keynotes or talk spots & we don't give sponsors access to program committee. #Copyleftconf sponsors get a thank you but no control. "Saying thank you"!="Saying they're the 'good guys'".
We are excited to announce our #CopyleftConf venue details! For all our pals making their #FOSDEM travel plans soon -- don't forget to stick around in Brussels for Monday's debut Copyleft Conf! whttps://sfconservancy.org/blog/2018/dec/12/ccvenue2019/
