I love that i'm seeing more people, kids and adults, wearing isolation headphones in public. I assume the schools have finally caught on to the idea that our world is Too Loud for autistic and ADHD etc folks. One school I worked with even had a Quiet Room with foam and stim toys and noise reduction. 😍

@glitterwitch @maloki At least one, and I think both of the Chicago ComicCons recently introduced a Quiet Room away from the event floor. The rule is strictly enforced. It's proved very popular way to get a break from the floor.

@chartier @maloki yes! I wish all public areas and events had these. I've been to conferences with quiet areas but they were not enforced and all the business fucks were using it as a mobile office
